The Mt. Pleasant Church of Orlando is seeking a Music Minister to lead the Worship & Fine Arts Ministries. The primary responsibility of this position is to plan, conduct and direct music for all worship services and special events, including both traditional and contemporary music. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a belief and commitment to the teachings of Jesus Christ, understand the importance of worship, be proficient in vocal and instrumental direction as well as in administration and leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree, preferably in Music, Worship Arts (or comparable experience). Working knowledge of choral rehearsal techniques and conducting choirs; have a vision for musical excellence, demonstrate the ability to lead instrumentalists and vocalists, have basic skills for playing piano and keyboard and the ability to lead congregational singing. Must also have effective communication skills and be able to work in a team environment. Must be able to work a minimum of 10-15 hours per week.
