Mount Pleasant, according to Nicole Hannah-Jones, author of The 1619 Project, Reparations will go to any person who has documentation that he or she identified as a black person for at least ten years before the beginning of any reparations process and can trace at least one ancestor back to American Slavery. The Christian Education Ministry wants to invite you and a few members of your family to the 3rd and final event of Roots Revived. At this event, you will have the opportunity to create your family tree AND write a family introduction to that tree that will be published. This event will take place here at Mount Pleasant at 9am on Saturday, April 27th. Please feel free to bring your computers. Charts will be provided to document your information to pass on to future generations and to have available if it is ever needed to receive reparations. To Register, see Sister Dior after church, or email her at hello@brittdior.com
