Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church of Orlando is Committed to Connection - to Christ, our Church and the Community. There are many opportunities for members to serve. The Adult Ministry Department includes: Culinary, Discipleship, Mt. Fitness, Silver Angels, Women's Ministry, Men's Ministry, Brotherhood, General Home Mission, Singles, Travel, and Widow Support, We invite you to visit our Adult Ministries and find out more about what God is doing here at The Mount. Our ministry leaders would love to have you join their team. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. Brotherhood


Hebrews 13:1 says “Let brotherly love continue.” The Brotherhood Ministry is for “all” men of the Church. We meet monthly for Bible Study and mission projects.

Culinary


The Culinary Ministry plans, prepares and serves nutritious, delicious meals for various gatherings such as banquets, luncheons, conferences, repasts, meetings and various other special events. Catering services are also provided.

Men’s Ministry


The Men’s Ministry provides opportunities for men to fellowship and study God’s Word together. This ministry hosts various forums, and activities/outings in an effort to encourage men and address any issues and concerns from a Biblical perspective. Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Ephesians 6:10

Silver Angels


The Silver Angels Ministry provides various activities and fellowship opportunities for seniors, within the Mt. Pleasant Church as well as in the community. Our Motto is: “Forever Young.” We focus on programs and activities that foster spiritual, emotional, social and physical well-being. Our target age group is 50+, but we welcome all who desire to participate in our fellowship to join us every Wednesday morning at 11:30am. Lunch is provided at No Cost. The biblical basis of our ministry is: Psalms 133:1 “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.”

Women’s Ministry


The MTP Women’s Ministry is a dynamic and vital part of the Mt Pleasant Church family. Women of all ages are engaged in a variety of activities that support and strengthen them in their spiritual journey. One of our signature events is the monthly fellowship, commonly referred to as “Sister to Sister Chat.” This fellowship is held every 4th Saturday at 10:00AM via the ZOOM platform. The Women’s Ministry also supports various community service projects, as well as local and foreign mission work.
